El Chapo 'traded drugs and cash in exchange for weapons in the U.S. - Global Exchange

Mexico .- The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) reported that in 2009, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman powerful negotiating the purchase of U.S. weapons in exchange for drugs and money, so they were arrested two Mexicans.



In one report, the U.S. agency details that David Díaz Sosa, Sinaloa, and Emilia Palomino Robles, 26 and 42 years old, respectively, intended to make the exchange with undercover agents of the corporation to benefit the cartel Sinaloa.



The armament consists of a missile of the type FIM-92 Stinger, designed to shoot down aircraft, an M72 LAW destroying cars with heavy armor, a rifle FIRE Drangon tank that can penetrate armored vehicles and bunkers, two AT-4 anti-tank grenade launcher, one M-60 machine gun, a dozen 40mm grenades and three boxes of hand grenades.



As part of the operation called "White Gun" by the DEA, "El Chapo" initiated arrangements with U.S. agents in 2009, which gave the deal to 4.5 pounds of methamphetamine by Palomino Robles, as reported by News 4 chain of Arizona.



The Americans had a secret cellar guarded by the Bureau of Alcohol, Snuff and Firearms (ATF for short English), where she visited Díaz Sosa in February 2010.



And the arms transaction in return for Drug ended there, ending in the arrest of Mexicans.



Both David Diaz and Emilia Palomino, Sonora, pleaded guilty in a court in Phoenix to participate in a conspiracy to exchange drugs and money in exchange for military hardware.
